Leads people and culture strategy, employee experience, engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, employee resource groups, reward and benefits, people insights, governance, and culture change. Coordinates engagement surveys, salary reviews, pay transparency, gender pay reporting, workforce planning, succession planning, and HR process improvement. Partners with recruitment, HR business partnering, HR systems, learning, and talent teams to support retention, compliance, and business performance.

Coordinate civil engineering design from contract award through project completion. Manage designers, approvals, compliance, buildability, risk, value engineering, technical issues, BIM implementation, and construction-programme alignment. Support clients with CDM regulatory duties and help minimize defects, hazards, and non-compliance. The role requires travel across project locations in North East England and Scotland.

Manage the full bid lifecycle for civil engineering projects valued from £10m to over £50m, from go/no-go decisions through contract award. Lead bid teams, develop winning strategies, coordinate submissions, ensure compliance, contribute to quality responses, prepare tender presentations, manage clarifications, and drive continuous improvement. The role requires strong written communication, planning, attention to detail, and experience with bid management best practices such as Shipley or APMP.
