Implements embedded software features and drivers for near-real-time control systems using C/C++. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, design, integration, debugging, verification, unit testing, risk mitigation, defect resolution, and technical documentation. The engineer collaborates on hardware interfaces, system controls, software requirements, architecture, and system-level testing for naval and ground-based platforms.

Supports program managers and cost account managers with budgeting, forecasting, earned value management, cost and schedule integration, variance analysis, estimates to complete and at completion, funding and cost risk analysis, and government performance reporting. Maintains cost baselines and EVM systems, prepares monthly contract data reports, and supports program management rhythms across engineering programs. The role is fully on-site and requires an active Secret clearance.

Provides financial and administrative support for aerospace programs, including earned value management, budget baseline development, cost and schedule integration, forecasting, ETC/EAC analysis, variance reporting, funding analysis, and monthly government cost performance reporting. Partners with program managers, functional leaders, and cost account managers while using Deltek Cobra, SAP S/4HANA, Excel, and PowerPoint. The role operates independently in an on-site environment and requires an active Secret clearance.
