Supports cash accounting through journal entries, bank reconciliations, variance research, Salesforce-to-ERP reconciliation, and month-end close activities. The role requires U.S. GAAP knowledge, accounting systems and Excel expertise, understanding of transaction dependencies, and experience in multi-entity environments. The Accountant II also identifies process improvements, investigates exceptions, communicates findings, and collaborates with accounting partners in a flexible, primarily in-office setting.

Owns discovery and requirements for complex, cross-functional data, automation, and AI initiatives. Structures ambiguous problems, creates requirements and process artifacts, facilitates senior stakeholder alignment, evaluates tradeoffs, supports prioritization, and anticipates integration and downstream impacts. The role also mentors business analysts, reviews their work, improves analysis standards, and promotes knowledge sharing. Experience with data platforms, analytics, workflow automation, AI initiatives, requirements management, and stakeholder facilitation is required.

Leads monthly financial statement preparation, management and external reporting, financial analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, audit support, and tax schedules. Develops complex Excel-based reporting tools, improves accounting processes through technology and analytics, supports accounting research and standards implementation, and partners across departments. The role requires strong U.S. GAAP, general ledger, multi-entity accounting, consolidation, communication, organization, and analytical skills.
