Leads enterprise market intelligence and analytics for wholesale power and commodity markets. Builds forecasting, forward-curve, fundamental modeling, scenario analysis, dashboards, and governance capabilities; supports investment, development, M&A, financing, asset optimization, hedging, and portfolio decisions. Establishes a global center of expertise, manages analysts and external providers, and communicates market insights and uncertainties to executives, investment committees, and boards.

Supports accounts payable and accounts receivable for Northland’s German business activities, including invoice processing, payment runs, cash allocation, reconciliations, customer and supplier master data, and collections support. Performs bank transactions, journals, fixed-asset accounting, month-end closing, reporting, audit documentation, VAT support, and consolidation activities. The role requires knowledge of German accounting practices, IFRS/HGB environments, and professional German and English communication, with four days per week in the Hamburg office.

Leads international public affairs, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, brand, media, thought leadership, executive positioning, events, and reputation initiatives across priority markets. Develops market-specific communications strategies and content, supports government and community engagement, manages issues and external partners, and monitors policy and stakeholder developments. Based in Madrid with office attendance at least four days weekly and frequent travel across Europe.
