Northern Wasco County PUD

Northern Wasco County People's Utility District (NWCPUD) is a customer-owned, not-for-profit electric utility based in The Dalles, Oregon. Created by local voters in 1939, it serves nearly 25,000 people and businesses throughout Wasco County with reliable electricity at some of the lowest rates in Oregon and the Northwest, delivering power largely from carbon-free hydroelectric sources through the Bonneville Power Administration and guided by an elected five-member board of directors.
