Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association

Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association (NISRA) is a community-based therapeutic recreation agency serving people with disabilities across 13 communities in northwest suburban Chicago. It provides year-round programs for participants of all ages and ability levels, including weekly recreation, cultural arts, summer camps, adult life-skills programs, Special Olympics, trips, and inclusion support in local park district programs. Its mission is to enrich lives through meaningful recreation experiences.
