Supports commercial insurance underwriting through accurate data entry, calculations, reporting, policy processing, application and endorsement review, and communication with underwriters and brokers. Mentors Technical Assistants, ensures procedural quality, and contributes to special projects and process improvements. This is a four-month hybrid contract supporting large, complex accounts within the Technical Risk team.

Provides technical and administrative support to commercial underwriters and brokers by interpreting customer service requests, gathering information, processing inquiries, responding to communications, and maintaining accurate data entry. The role requires organization, prioritization, customer-needs awareness, office experience, comfort with IT systems, teamwork, and mandatory French proficiency. English is an asset.

Investigate and adjudicate complex commercial liability claims, including litigated Auto, CGL, E&O, D&O, Professional Liability, and Cyber Liability matters. Assess coverage, liability, and damages; communicate decisions to third parties and counsel; prepare internal, large-loss, and reinsurance summaries; and drive claims to resolution. The role also mentors adjusters, trains new hires, manages demanding workloads, and maintains a strong customer experience.
