Teams at North Texas Behavioral Health Authority

Provide direct care and continuity of care for individuals transitioning from a state hospital step-down program to the community. Deliver functional skills training, assist with treatment plans, coordinate community services, support crisis de-escalation, transport or arrange transportation, document care, and collaborate with internal teams and community agencies to support recovery goals.

Manage Living Room program operations and supervise Care and Drop Off Coordinators. Provide crisis intervention, assessments, case management, staffing coordination, training, chart reviews, reporting, community collaboration, and ensure compliance with HHSC and organizational policies while maintaining program budgets and staff oversight.

Manage utilization review and authorization of behavioral health services, determine medical necessity and funding eligibility, ensure compliance with Texas rules and NTBHA policies, supervise providers, collaborate with hospitals and managed care, maintain documentation and performance metrics, and support continuity of care across the NTBHA service area.
