Oversees referral operations, insurance verification, eligibility checks, referral tracking, care coordination, and network development. Manages and coaches Referral Coordinators, monitors staffing and KPIs, improves workflows, maintains specialist information and referral documentation, and ensures compliance with accreditation standards. The role also supports special projects, staff onboarding, partner relationships, escalated issues, and daily referral tasks across multiple healthcare sites.

Coordinate diagnostic orders and specialty referrals: schedule appointments, verify insurance and obtain prior authorizations, communicate with patients, providers, central scheduling and hospitals, document referrals and no-shows in the EMR, review work queues, and direct patients to resources as needed.
