Assists with meal service in a resident-care setting by assembling and delivering trays, preparing and portioning food, managing supplies, disposing of refuse, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas. Follows menus, standardized recipes, food-safety procedures, departmental policies, and schedules while supporting resident satisfaction and working cooperatively with the dietary team.

Supports long-term care facility financial and administrative operations, including accounts receivable, billing, Medicare and insurance claims, resident trust funds, deposits, payer updates, admissions financial verification, documentation, collections, and office administration. Communicates with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders; assists with training and interdisciplinary meetings while maintaining compliance, accuracy, and deadlines.

The Charge Nurse provides direct resident care, administers medications and treatments, implements care plans, transcribes physician orders, documents assessments, and participates in shift reporting. The role guides nurse aides, educates support staff, maintains infection-control and safety standards, responds to emergencies, and coordinates replacement staffing when needed. Candidates must be licensed RNs or LVNs in good standing with strong assessment, documentation, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
