Designs, documents, tests, and supports IT systems integrated into mission-critical vehicles and platforms. Develops production-ready build documentation and BOMs, applies DISA and TEMPEST requirements, supports manufacturing troubleshooting, investigates failures, and participates in validation and design reviews. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and program management teams while managing assigned design tasks, schedules, customer or supplier interactions, and continuous improvement efforts.

Leads mechanical system architecture for intermodal and specialized freight containers across multiple product platforms. Designs and validates container structures, lifting systems, interfaces, and modifications using CAD, structural analysis, FEA, and applicable ISO, CSC, ABS, PAM, and PAM-IM standards. Oversees designs from concept through production, supports certification and testing, improves manufacturability, resolves manufacturing issues, and mentors engineers while making high-impact decisions related to safety, compliance, cost, reliability, and scalability.

Lead mechanical design and validation for intermodal freight containers and transportable structural systems. Create CAD models, fabrication drawings, BOMs, analyses, FEA, tests, and production documentation. Ensure compliance with ISO, CSC, ABS, PAM, and PAM-IM standards. Evaluate structural loads, materials, welding, coatings, corrosion prevention, manufacturability, and transport interfaces. Troubleshoot production and field issues, lead root-cause analysis, collaborate with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and project teams, and mentor junior engineers.
