Lead overnight production incident response and platform continuity for a SaaS platform serving dental labs. Monitor system health, investigate issues using logs, dashboards, APIs, databases, and diagnostic tools, determine business impact, restore service or apply safe workarounds, coordinate Engineering and DevOps escalation, communicate with stakeholders, document root causes, conduct post-mortems, and ensure complete handoffs. Develop a backup teammate to independently manage routine night triage.

Own the reliability and architecture of the company’s data foundation. Design and improve ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, governance, APIs, and Databricks/Azure solutions. Identify data quality issues, lead incident response and root-cause analysis, and ensure problems do not recur. Translate business needs into effective technical execution, challenge requirements, and lead two Data Engineers while remaining hands-on. Enable trusted reporting, self-service analytics, and AI initiatives through accurate, scalable data.
