Automotive Technician responsible for vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, inspections, installations, and accurate service documentation. Duties include oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air-conditioning recharges, alignments, battery replacement, lighting installation, troubleshooting customer concerns, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Candidates need at least three years of service technician experience, automotive tool proficiency, diagnostic equipment knowledge, strong communication skills, and a high school diploma or GED.

Automotive service technicians perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Level A technicians handle complex engine, transmission, electrical, diesel, and EV or hybrid high-voltage repairs while mentoring junior staff. Level B technicians perform mid-level repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections while pursuing diesel and EV certifications. The role requires mechanical aptitude, safe and efficient work, basic tools, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
