Designs, implements, tests and commissions PLC and SCADA/HMI software for industrial automation projects (steel plants and port quay electrification). Defines module requirements, develops and validates software, performs testing and commissioning up to system acceptance, prepares documentation, and coordinates with suppliers, customers, and internal engineering and project teams.

Develop firmware and software for electronic control of power converters on platforms like C2000, ARM and PowerPC. Work on bare-metal and RTOS (VxWorks, Linux) architectures, write low-level C code with attention to pointers and memory, use version control, and work autonomously. Optional experience includes microcontroller development, Rust, Linux development, RTOS, and multithreaded applications. Based in Cinisello Balsamo, Italy.

Manage and coordinate product certification and conformity activities for power converters, drives, automation and renewable-energy products. Identify applicable regulations and standards, select test labs, prepare technical files and declarations of conformity, support testing and validation, advise Engineering/Production, perform risk and reliability analyses, and apply Quality Management System principles.
