Build and evolve ngrok’s AI Gateway, including real-time AI traffic handling, policy enforcement, rate limits, usage caps, access rules, token tracking, observability, and explainability. Design customer-focused gateway abstractions and collaborate with Gateway, Customer Data, Platform, product, and design teams to align enforcement, usage, and billing signals. The role involves full-stack development using primarily Go and TypeScript in a production AWS, Kubernetes, and distributed-systems environment.

Lead end-to-end product design for ngrok's developer-focused networking platform: frame problems, prototype quickly, run lightweight research, and deliver polished features. Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, use AI tools to augment design workflow, maintain high interaction and visual standards, and help evolve the design team and systems.
