Lead and own the end-to-end engineering of the Nexus Exchange including matching, risk, settlement, indexing, APIs/SDKs, oracle, and infrastructure. Set architecture, drive product outcomes, scale and manage a distributed engineering org, enforce correctness and performance, implement observability and rigorous testing, and grow technical leaders while staying hands-on in critical systems.

Support deployment and maintenance of distributed infrastructure for a Layer-1 blockchain and exchange. Optimize transaction pipelines for speed and reliability, build secure production-grade systems, maintain high-availability across cloud/distributed environments, and apply observability and IaC best practices while collaborating with product and protocol teams.

Build and maintain backend services and infrastructure for a Layer 1 blockchain and native DEX. Develop APIs, data pipelines, RPC endpoints, explorers, and dev tools using Node.js, Rust, and other backend technologies. Write production-grade, well-tested code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to architecture and technical decisions.

Design and implement high-performance components for a Layer 1 DEX engine and protocol runtime in Rust/C++/Go. Build low-latency order execution pipelines, optimize concurrency, memory, and I/O for determinism and throughput, profile and resolve bottlenecks, and collaborate on protocol-safe, consensus-compatible execution abstractions.

The Tech Lead Engineer will define technical architecture, write production code, guide engineering pods, and mentor team members while ensuring high-quality delivery across diverse tech stacks.
