Own spacecraft functional and system-level testing, verification tracking, test procedures, and campaign execution from subsystem integration through flight readiness. Design and maintain test rigs, vacuum facilities, electronics, gas systems, and diagnostics; operate propulsion test equipment; collect and analyze performance data; identify failures; support iterative design improvements; and maintain traceable verification and qualification documentation. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, and propulsion engineers to integrate and test flight-ready hardware.

Own the design, construction, testing, and verification of RF gridded ion thrusters for very-low-Earth-orbit satellites. Responsibilities include performance calculations, test-rig and equipment development, vacuum-facility operation, propulsion testing, results analysis, iterative design improvements, and traceable qualification documentation. The role requires hands-on expertise in RF plasma systems, ion optics, vacuum equipment, high-voltage supplies, diagnostics, and propulsion test campaigns.

Lead government and enterprise satellite sales, owning the full sales cycle from sourcing through contract close. Build senior relationships with government agencies, primes, and major operators; shape commercial strategy; represent the company externally; manage forecasting and board reporting; partner with engineering and delivery; and grow the sales function. The role requires extensive satellite sales experience, major contract wins, and a strong space-industry network.

Build and lead NewOrbit Space’s commercial function, owning government and enterprise account strategies, tender capture, competitive proposals, complex negotiations, partnerships, forecasting, and contract growth. The role requires direct space hardware sales experience, strong knowledge of procurement and export controls, and the ability to translate satellite engineering into customer value. The Commercial Lead will also build the commercial team, represent the company at industry events, and drive high-value multi-year agreements.
