The After School Program Director oversees program operations, manages staff, ensures quality standards, and fosters a positive learning environment for students.

Teach cosmetology to youth in an after-school program, including hair styling, nail technology, makeup, beauty theory, techniques, terminology, and safety. Develop lesson plans, prepare classrooms and materials, demonstrate practical skills, supervise students, maintain classroom order, evaluate learning, adapt instruction to student needs, and guide students toward a final project. The role requires on-site work in a New York City public school for 9–15 hours weekly.

Assists with administration of an after-school program, including supervising staff and students, coordinating academic and enrichment activities, organizing trips and special events, communicating with parents and school personnel, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
