Manage end-to-end biweekly payroll for two entities, ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws and CBAs, process payroll changes, 401(k) contributions and garnishments, maintain payroll procedures, reconcile payroll accounts and post journal entries, support month-/year-end close and audits, liaise with external accountants, and assist HR with onboarding and payroll training.

The Policy Counsel will conduct legal research, engage in legislative advocacy, draft legal materials, and collaborate with multiple departments to advance public policy initiatives focusing on civil rights and liberties.

The Staff Attorney will focus on advancing racial justice through legal research, advocacy, litigation, and collaboration with various stakeholders in New York State.
