Manage a portfolio of 50–70 major-gift prospects and donors, cultivating relationships and soliciting, closing, and stewarding five-figure gifts. Analyze donor data using Tableau and Salesforce, maintain accurate records, develop individualized fundraising strategies, conduct donor outreach, collaborate with development and planned-giving teams, and communicate NYCLU priorities compellingly to supporters.

Conduct civil rights and civil liberties litigation in federal and state courts and administrative forums, including pleadings, discovery, oral arguments, appeals, and pre-litigation advocacy. Investigate matters, analyze legal issues, use FOIL and FOIA, prepare demand letters, educate the public, collaborate across departments, develop pro bono relationships, and mentor attorneys and law students. The role focuses particularly on immigration and immigrants’ rights, systemic racism, reproductive justice, LGBTQ+ rights, police misconduct, privacy, and constitutional liberties.

Manage end-to-end biweekly payroll for two entities, ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws and CBAs, process payroll changes, 401(k) contributions and garnishments, maintain payroll procedures, reconcile payroll accounts and post journal entries, support month-/year-end close and audits, liaise with external accountants, and assist HR with onboarding and payroll training.
