Conduct research on the evolutionary origin of RNA 5' caps by identifying RNA caps across systems, developing enzyme- and sequencing-based assays (Illumina, ONT), analyzing results, publishing findings, presenting at conferences, and mentoring graduate and undergraduate interns.

The role involves managing sales opportunities in the life sciences sector, building partnerships, formulating business strategies, and expanding growth within a designated territory.

Design, build, validate, and maintain end-to-end laboratory automation workflows using liquid handlers and integrated instrumentation. Optimize and troubleshoot high-throughput NGS and other assay workflows, implement automation platforms, evaluate new equipment, translate manual assays to automated methods, create SOPs/training materials, and support internal teams and customers on automated protocols.
