Manage customer and client enquiries through telephone, website, and email channels. Provide consistently high-quality customer service, maintain accurate customer and company databases, record and escalate issues, and resolve complaints within agreed timescales, KPIs, and SLAs. The role requires strong organization, time management, attention to detail, IT literacy, and the ability to prioritize competing contacts effectively.

Coordinate streetworks programming, permits, notices, and compliance to meet service-level agreements and customer expectations. Maintain accurate works-management records, validate and transmit permit requests, monitor outstanding issues, manage third-party coordination, analyze charges and penalties, distribute jeopardy reports, and escalate risks. Provide call-desk and general administrative support while driving operational improvements and reporting safety issues according to company procedures.

Manage payroll operations for more than 5,000 employees across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles. Lead payroll supervisors and clerks, ensure compliance with tax and employment legislation, oversee calculations and statutory deductions, reconcile HMRC accounts, authorize payments, resolve employee queries, prepare reports, support audits, and improve payroll systems and procedures in partnership with HR, Finance, Treasury, and external agencies.
