Supports Neo’s in-house Legal team with contract drafting and review, execution workflows, corporate governance, entity management, legal research, external legal spend, and maintenance of legal records, SOPs, playbooks, and templates. The role requires independent organization, discretion, strong communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced fintech environment under legal counsel supervision.

Senior Legal Counsel will advise Neo on corporate, commercial, regulatory, employment, privacy, and financing matters. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating agreements, identifying legal risks, developing policies, maintaining contract systems, conducting legal research, improving contract processes, updating customer disclosures, and managing external counsel. The role requires collaboration with business stakeholders in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Develops and optimizes credit acquisition strategies, underwriting criteria, credit line assignment rules, and automated decisioning processes. Uses SQL, Python or R, advanced analytics, and machine learning to monitor portfolio performance, delinquency, defaults, and credit exposure. Collaborates with Credit Operations, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Growth teams to implement risk controls, manage exceptions, ensure regulatory compliance, and translate analytical insights into actionable credit policies.
