Leads clinical performance improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve patient safety, quality, efficiency, and healthcare processes. Analyzes clinical data and performance metrics, facilitates cross-functional teams, designs and implements solutions, and validates outcomes. The role requires clinical expertise, project management, evidence-based practice, data management, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement leadership across the healthcare organization.

Conduct revenue integrity audits and reviews covering charge capture, coding, claims production, provider code assignment, and reimbursement. Investigate revenue-cycle issues, identify trends, support process improvements, educate stakeholders, and assist with billing system implementation. Collaborate with Patient Financial Services, clinical departments, compliance, and leadership while conducting special projects to strengthen revenue management.

Provides and coordinates nursing care for adult patients in a 20-bed Neuroscience ICU, including those with traumatic brain injuries, strokes, epilepsy, and other neurological conditions. Works with healthcare providers to address critical, acute, emergent, and procedural care needs. Requires Nebraska RN licensure, BLS certification, and department-dependent PALS certification.
