Provide basic patient care and assist with individualized mobility activities for pre- and post-transplant adult patients on a 36-bed Solid Organ Transplant Unit under direction of licensed nurses and therapists. Perform safe patient handling, use patient-care equipment, communicate with patients/families, and document care as directed.

Process scheduling, pre-registration, pre-admission, and insurance verification information. Verify patient eligibility, benefits, copays, deductibles, out-of-pocket limits, authorization, and referral requirements. Complete ambulatory clinic pre-registration while providing timely, courteous customer service. Maintain accurate records, manage multiple tasks, resolve problems, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Provide administrative, technical, and patient-care support to ophthalmologists/optometrists in a clinical setting. Perform basic eye clinic tasks, assist with exams, maintain quality patient care, and support clinic operations during standard weekday hours.
