Manages budgets, appropriations, grants, and financial compliance for the Nebraska Department of Education. Responsibilities include budget analysis, forecasting, fund allocation, invoice and contract review, account and payroll coding verification, financial reporting, internal-control procedures, accounting-system monitoring, and staff training. The role advises program offices on funding availability and regulatory requirements while ensuring state and federal funds are accurately administered.
