Design, build and optimize scalable batch and real-time data pipelines on AWS to deliver reliable datasets for analytics and ML (e.g., SageMaker). Implement orchestration (Airflow), containerisation (Docker/EKS), IaC (Terraform), cost and performance optimisation, and embed data loss prevention and governance controls.

Investigate and manage security incidents escalated from junior analysts, perform deeper analysis and threat hunting, tune alerts and SOC tooling, produce incident reports, and mentor junior SOC staff to improve processes and automation.

Coordinate SOC operations including workflow and incident management, assign and supervise analysts, triage alerts, liaise with stakeholders, improve processes, maintain documentation and reporting, and provide training and quality assurance to ensure effective security monitoring and response.
