Process first mortgage loans from warm handoff through closing: gather, review and verify member and third-party documentation; validate underwriting conditions; coordinate with underwriters, closing agents, attorneys and realtors; ensure compliance with federal, NCUA, RESPA and Navy Federal guidelines; update LOS and communicate status to members to meet closing timelines.

Investigate complex AML, OFAC, and financial-crime transactions; perform in-depth risk reviews and SAR preparation; mentor junior staff; conduct research, evidence collection, quality control, and cross-unit collaboration to detect and prevent fraud and sanctions evasion while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Lead enterprise data risk governance and RCSA programs, conduct risk and operational assessments, develop KRIs, policies, and dashboards, advise business units on data governance and AI unstructured data practices, and support regulatory and audit engagements.
