Underwrites complex life insurance applications using medical, financial, mortality, morbidity, and risk analysis. Determines evidence requirements, risk classifications, insurable interest, temporary insurance eligibility, and reinsurance terms. Handles cases up to $5 million, consults medical and underwriting experts, supports accelerated underwriting, mentors colleagues, works with field partners, and contributes to underwriting projects and performance goals.

Configure rules, calculations, and system logic in OIPA; build and run test tools; analyze data and system behavior; support projection/valuation and actuarial reporting; partner with Actuarial, IT, and Product for product launches and administration.

Leads a multi-year transformation of property and casualty insurance rate filing processes across multiple business lines. Oversees actuarial filing and reporting teams, establishes governance and peer-review standards, partners with legal, regulatory, technology, and business stakeholders, and advances automation and analytical capabilities. Performs complex actuarial analysis, communicates recommendations to senior leaders and regulators, develops talent, and provides strategic guidance on product profitability and data-driven decision-making.
