Build, test, and deploy Django/Python web tools for National Journal’s digital platform. Maintain datasets and integrations, improve the internal Ada CMS, develop automation tools, and contribute across backend and frontend systems. Collaborate in Agile sprints, write tests and documentation, conduct code reviews, monitor performance, and uphold software quality. The role supports election data, government directories, journalism, and other products used by government affairs professionals.

Manage research for multiple client accounts, develop methodologies, analyze societal and reputational risks, and synthesize findings into strategic recommendations. Prepare presentations and memos, present insights to corporate executives, lead associates and interns, monitor current societal issues, and contribute to improving research products and operations. The role requires strong qualitative analysis, writing, project management, client communication, and knowledge of political and media environments.

Advises communications and corporate affairs teams on adopting, governing, and scaling AI. Conducts qualitative research, synthesizes interviews and surveys, develops implementation roadmaps and case studies, and creates client presentations and memos. Supports webinars, executive briefings, training, change-management initiatives, and AI workflow experimentation while contributing to advisory product development and operational improvements.
