Summer 2027 actuarial internship supporting pricing and reserving analyses for a commercial transportation insurer. The intern will learn actuarial techniques, company systems, statistical methods, Excel, programming, and actuarial software while updating established analyses and participating in professional development and departmental shadowing.

Supports actuarial modeling, risk assessment, pricing analysis, data trend evaluation, reporting, and presentations. Collaborates with underwriting, finance, and product development teams, assists with regulatory compliance and process improvements, and develops actuarial expertise through professional development and continued CAS exam progress.

Learns actuarial techniques, company systems, pricing and reserving methodologies, and basic statistical methods. Updates data in established analyses, develops Excel proficiency, and begins using programming and actuarial software. The role is part of a June 2027 graduate development program conducted primarily onsite in Richfield, Ohio, with one remote day per week.
