On-call substitute educators follow assigned lesson plans, provide clear instruction, support student understanding, and maintain classroom discipline and control. The role requires strong classroom-management and leadership skills, personal values, initiative, and a passion for educating students. Candidates must meet North Carolina state requirements for substitute teachers. This is a non-benefit-eligible position with variable opportunities based on teacher absences.

Provides psychological assessments, psycho-educational evaluations, counseling, interventions, and crisis support for students across two North Carolina charter schools. Collaborates with families and school staff on IEPs, Section 504 plans, progress monitoring, behavior supports, and student wellness initiatives. Delivers staff training, maintains service records and caseload documentation, participates in meetings, and supports positive school climate and crisis-response planning. This is a part-time, local traveling role requiring valid North Carolina school psychologist licensure.

Provides individualized and small-group academic intervention under classroom-teacher supervision. Prepares lesson plans, supports workshops, maintains instructional and communication logs, monitors student attendance, and communicates with students and families about attendance or behavior. Participates in planning, articulation meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences.
