Leads end-to-end mechanical and aircraft systems engineering from concept through production and first flight. Oversees system architecture, requirements, integration, trade studies, compliance, testing, scheduling, and corrective actions across propulsion, fuel, electrical, avionics, and flight-control systems. Provides technical leadership, assigns work, mentors engineers, manages deliverables, and collaborates with executive leadership. Requires extensive systems engineering experience, aircraft systems expertise, FAA regulatory familiarity, turboprop installation design, composite airframe integration, CAD proficiency, and rapid-prototype aircraft program experience.

Supports day-to-day business operations, CRM management, proposals, presentations, meetings, conferences, events, vendor and contract administration, recordkeeping, and cross-functional projects. Provides operational, administrative, marketing, and business development support to leadership and department heads in a fast-paced startup environment.

Designs composite and metallic aircraft structures using CAD, manages models, develops drafting standards, and coordinates with manufacturing. Responsibilities include designing primary and secondary structures, bolted and bonded joints, optimizing CAD processes, supporting design-for-build manufacturing, and contributing to rapid-prototype aircraft development from concept through build. The role requires collaboration with engineering and cross-functional teams, occasional travel, and possible on-site hangar work.

Perform structural stress analysis for composite and metallic aircraft airframe components using FEA. Responsibilities include sizing parts, assessing strength, fatigue, durability, structural efficiency, and weight; developing airframe-level models; authoring analysis documentation; supporting drawing releases and structural tests; and conducting trade studies. The role requires collaboration across teams and understanding of Part 23 requirements.

Conduct component- and vehicle-level CFD analyses, support low- and high-speed wind tunnel testing, and lead aerodynamic optimization and performance prediction. Compare analytical results with experimental and flight-test data, develop analysis methods and tools, author technical reports, and support aircraft configuration, integration, and design decisions. The role also manages complex project initiatives and requires expertise in applied aerodynamics, CFD, subsonic and transonic flows, and Part 23 requirements.
