Provides one-on-one observation and support for incarcerated patients at risk of self-injury or suicide. Conducts behavioral health rounds, documents and communicates observations, performs crisis intervention and de-escalation, promotes prosocial behavior, participates in treatment planning and staff meetings, and may facilitate community meetings. Requires physical ability to assist patients and perform CPR in a controlled correctional healthcare environment.

Provides hemodialysis treatment and comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated patients. Responsibilities include patient assessments, individualized care plans, dialysis machine setup and monitoring, vascular access management, medication administration, emergency response, infection control, documentation, patient education, and collaboration with nephrologists, healthcare professionals, and correctional staff. The nurse must follow correctional facility security procedures, ACA and NCCHC standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.

Provides psychological assessment, treatment, counseling, risk evaluation, and reintegration support for incarcerated patients. Collaborates with correctional staff and multidisciplinary medical teams, develops treatment plans, leads mental-health education, and supports patients with mental health and substance use disorders. The role requires an unrestricted Alabama psychologist license, BLS certification eligibility, strong communication skills, confidentiality, compliance with healthcare and legal requirements, and successful completion of background and drug screening.
