Cut, fit, position and secure steel bars, rods, cables, and wire mesh in concrete forms per blueprints using hand tools, rod-bending machines, blowtorches, and concrete vibrators. Space and fasten rebar, set forms and blockouts, vibrate concrete to remove air pockets, and coach others. Must perform physical labor, lift up to 90 lbs, work long shifts, overtime and mandatory Saturdays.

The role involves reinforcing concrete by positioning and securing steel bars or mesh, using tools to cut and fit materials, and ensuring proper dimensions according to blueprints.

Responsible for smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete, ensuring it is level and free of lumps and bubbles, while adhering to safety and quality standards.
