Teams at NAMSA

Performs routine microbiology test article preparation, laboratory testing, calculations, and data recording under NAMSA SOPs and work instructions. Operates laboratory equipment, monitors equipment and alarms, conducts environmental monitoring, and cleans and disinfects cleanroom suites. Maintains compliance with GLP/GMP requirements and applicable USP and ISO guidelines while evaluating data and escalating issues when necessary.

Performs or supports necropsies, gross examinations, tissue trimming, specimen shipping, photography, X-ray imaging, and pathology recordkeeping. Maintains GLP-compliant laboratories, equipment, SOPs, logbooks, and specialized equipment calibration or validation. Assists with pathology protocols and SOP modifications while ensuring accurate documentation and laboratory operations.

Provides regional scientific and operational leadership for anatomic pathology evaluations supporting nonclinical medical device studies. Reviews protocols, pathology data, and reports; ensures GLP, FDA, OECD, ISO, and other regulatory compliance; manages pathologists and pathology staff; oversees quality, peer review, training, staffing, and resource allocation; improves workflows and service offerings; supports audits, regulatory submissions, client consultations, business development, and scientific representation.
