Design, model, develop, and validate automotive suspension components and assemblies from concept through production. Create engineering drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation; plan and analyze prototype testing; ensure compliance with standards; present solutions to customers; and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. The role requires automotive engineering experience, CAD expertise, GD&T knowledge, manufacturing-process understanding, and familiarity with DFMEA, PFMEA, and Six Sigma. Desirable skills include seals, bearings, materials, tribology, hydraulics, electromechanical systems, and sensors.

Manage and improve supplier quality, cost, delivery, readiness, and manufacturing capability. Lead supplier qualification, audits, APQP, PSO, PPAP, capacity evaluations, risk assessments, corrective actions, and launch support. Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, plant quality, and global suppliers while tracking performance metrics and driving Lean continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with supplier quality requirements, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and customer standards. Occasional international travel is required.

Develops and improves manufacturing processes, plant layouts, equipment, tooling, work instructions, bills of materials, routers, and standard costs. Supports product introductions, engineering changes, supplier coordination, process failure analysis, ergonomics, safety, cost reduction, corrective actions, and production-floor productivity. Ensures compliance with ISO 14001, IATF 16949, OHSA, and company procedures while applying Kaizen principles.
