Manages overall Medical Imaging Services operations, ensuring efficient patient care, appropriate staffing and resource utilization, compliance with imaging practice standards, and collaboration across clinical disciplines. The role oversees policies, procedures, programs, vendors, physicians, and external healthcare partners. Requirements include an imaging-related bachelor’s degree, registry eligibility or certification through ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB, five years of progressively responsible experience, and three years in supervisory or management work.

Provides continuous remote monitoring of at-risk patients, verbally redirects unsafe behaviors, collaborates with nursing staff, makes independent observations, and documents monitoring periods. Requires a Washington State CNA license, current CPR and Basic Life Support certification, and completion of a monitoring equipment class within one month of hire. Prior patient care experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred.

Performs diagnostic radiology examinations using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment. Supports trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine diagnostic studies while following departmental policies and clinical guidelines. Serves as a clinical resource and role model, working independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
