Own strategy, market health, monetization, segmentation, experimentation, and revenue reporting for Autos and Goods marketplace verticals. Partner with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Tech, and Data to improve seller success, premium offering adoption, pricing, and revenue. Use SQL, BigQuery, dashboards, AI tools, user research, and automation to generate insights, guide product discovery, and evaluate initiatives. Deliver actionable weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reporting.

Own quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting, prepare financial reports and variance analyses, build dashboards and models, and provide finance partnership to commercial, product, and marketing teams. The role supports pricing, cost management, resource allocation, group reporting, and strategic decisions while improving FP&A processes through automation and driver-based planning.

Lead the technical direction of Carousell’s Core Marketplace engineering team. Design and build scalable, highly available systems; lead complex cross-team projects; make architecture decisions; write production code; improve engineering processes and developer productivity; reduce technical debt; collaborate with product and design teams; and mentor engineers while delivering impactful marketplace features.
