Information Technology Interns will work on real-world projects across cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, data analytics, artificial intelligence, user experience, and automation. Interns apply their education, learn new technologies, collaborate with teams, work independently, and participate in structured rotations, mentorship, and career development activities. Successful interns may transition into Merck’s full-time Emerging Talent Rotational program after graduation.

Lead the end-to-end development and production deployment of generative AI applications, including agentic and multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, multimodal solutions, and LLM workflows. Establish AgentOps, evaluation, observability, and harness engineering practices while developing enterprise integrations and AI tooling. Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, responsible AI solutions on AWS, GCP, and Databricks.

Develop and modernize a Treasury Management System using Wall Street Suite, including migration from versions 7 to 8. Partner with Treasury stakeholders and IT product teams on roadmaps, requirements, configuration, customization, and solution delivery. Support scalable applications, resolve production issues, and apply software engineering skills across Java, XML, Python, databases, cloud, Agile, and emerging AI technologies.
