Processes doctors’ orders and incoming laboratory samples, ensuring accurate patient identification and labeling. Performs data entry, transports specimens according to hospital procedures, provides customer service to patients and medical staff, and performs CLIA-waived moderate testing.

Reviews clinical trial work and documentation to ensure study data quality, accuracy, integrity, and protocol compliance. Maintains familiarity with active studies, protocols, operations, and procedures while entering and evaluating information. Collaborates effectively, exercises sound judgment, manages deadlines and multiple projects, and maintains strong attention to detail.

Prepares and submits hospital insurance claims, verifies eligibility, reviews coding and documentation, follows up on unpaid or denied claims, posts payments and adjustments, communicates with insurers, appeals denials, and maintains knowledge of billing regulations. The role collaborates with coding and clinical teams to ensure accurate reimbursement and requires medical billing experience, knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, EHR systems, and billing software.
