Responsible for performing complex audits, creating recommendations, evaluating compliance with regulations, and analyzing financial reports for the credit union.

Processes federal bankruptcy pleadings, evaluates Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 documents, files required notices and responses, monitors bankruptcy account compliance, coordinates with attorneys and trustees, recommends collection actions, answers stakeholder inquiries, attends hearings, and ensures procedures comply with changing bankruptcy laws.

Reviews, balances, and reconciles general ledger and other accounts; prepares adjusting entries, investigates discrepancies, and supports accounting activities including mortgage, card, branch, payroll, tax, and cash management balancing. The role assists senior accountants, supports cross-functional teams, participates in process improvements, and maintains accurate financial records using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
