Manages clerical and technical operations for pathology and diagnostic laboratories. Oversees billing accuracy, quality control, proficiency testing, regulatory compliance, safety programs, staff education, performance improvement, equipment evaluation, and corrective actions. Coordinates clinical teaching activities, represents the laboratory on hospital committees, supports disaster preparedness, and promotes service excellence and improved patient care.

Supervises laboratory staffing, workflow, quality control, proficiency testing, safety, competency training, documentation, and performance improvement. Provides technical coverage for equipment and reagent issues, coordinates pathology department functions, ensures regulatory and hospital safety compliance, and supports staff development and morale. Requires Florida laboratory supervisor licensure in appropriate specialties, with national certification preferred, and 3–5 years of specialty experience.

Supervises physician-office staff, manages schedules, calendars, credentialing, compliance records, timekeeping, provider onboarding, and operational reporting. Coordinates with physicians, medical directors, coding, and billing teams to resolve issues. Ensures timely completion of clinical documentation, maintains personnel and departmental records, monitors JCAHO compliance, manages supplies, and supports scheduling emergencies and operational disruptions.
