Own the roadmap for body cameras, vehicle cameras, and evidence management software. Define epics, features, user stories, and product requirements; prioritize backlogs; identify customer and market needs; translate technical details for go-to-market teams; liaise among development, customers, and support; estimate costs; plan sprints; mitigate technical risks; and use feedback and usage data to improve adoption and efficiency.

Leads end-to-end R&D program execution for advanced wireless communications, networking, RF sensing, and electronic warfare products. Owns scope, schedules, milestones, risks, technical coordination, documentation, executive reporting, and cross-functional delivery across systems, FPGA, software, RF, hardware, and QA teams. Partners with engineering, product, sales, and business development leadership, while hiring and mentoring personnel to support organizational growth.

Develop embedded software for MANET radios, including MAC and routing protocols, network management, web interfaces, encryption, audio streaming, device drivers, and board support packages. Customize Linux systems, build testing software, and improve product security and reliability to meet NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP Common Criteria requirements. The role is fully onsite in Irvine and requires substantial C programming, Linux kernel development, and embedded systems experience.
