Teams at Motion Picture Association

Leads the MPA’s public affairs strategy by building and mobilizing coalitions of advocacy groups, nonprofits, labor organizations, think tanks, and grassroots networks. Advances legislative and regulatory priorities through stakeholder engagement, policy education, advocacy campaigns, and coordinated communications. Partners with government affairs, communications, legal, and member studio teams; briefs policymakers; develops advocacy materials; manages competing campaigns; represents the organization externally; and oversees the related public affairs budget.

The intern will assist the Government Affairs staff with research, monitoring legislation, tracking Congressional activity, and providing support in a fast-paced environment.
