Manages assigned customer accounts, handles inbound and outbound communication, prepares quotes, processes orders, monitors delivery, maintains CRM and sales data, coordinates internal teams, resolves issues, and supports outside sales growth. The role also generates pipeline reports, supports customer projects and documentation, and improves sales processes. Candidates need inside sales, account management, or customer service experience in a technical or industrial environment, along with strong organization, communication, Microsoft Office, and ERP or CRM skills.

Sell industrial automation and control solutions, grow regional and core accounts, develop customer relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver technically feasible, profitable solutions. Partner with engineering, inside sales, and production teams on automation applications, prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, manage account agreements, and maintain CRM records. Requires 3+ years of industrial sales experience, strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and preferably automation or controls expertise.

Drive automation product growth across Northern and Central Illinois and Indiana by managing customer accounts, developing OEM relationships, specifying products for machine designs, and supporting technical sales. Provide application engineering, electrical system design, cost estimating, field support, proposals, presentations, and customer training. Maintain CRM and ERP records while educating customers on automation technologies and building repeat demand.
