Develop and deploy machine learning, perception, mapping, localization, navigation, sensor fusion, and autonomy systems for outdoor robots. Train models on custom datasets, optimize algorithms for edge hardware, build testing and debugging tools, and deploy systems during real-world operations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams while iterating on field performance and robot behaviors.

Mechanical Engineering Intern designing and validating robotic sensor hardware for harsh outdoor environments. Responsibilities include mechanical architecture, CAD, FEA, enclosure design, thermal and vibration management, tolerance analysis, DFM reviews, supplier coordination, prototype assembly, field testing, and system integration with robotics, perception, electrical, sensor, compute, and power systems.

Design and develop autonomous-robot sensor systems, including electrical architecture, circuit design, PCB layout, firmware, and hardware integration. Prototype, debug, and bring up circuits; integrate LiDAR, cameras, GPS, IMUs, and compute platforms; collaborate with mechanical, perception, and robotics teams; manage suppliers and manufacturers; and support production testing and field deployments.
