The coordinator facilitates communication between patients and the clinical team while providing empathetic, organized, and efficient front-office support. Responsibilities require strong multitasking, interpersonal communication, and patient advocacy skills in a periodontal specialty practice.

Lead practice management software conversions, data migrations, and onboarding for dental practices. Coordinate teams and vendors, deliver training on front-office workflows, provide advanced Open Dental and Eaglesoft support, troubleshoot post-go-live issues, monitor timelines, and supervise integration and training staff to improve operational performance.

Provide chairside support for restorative, surgical, exam, and hygiene procedures; perform extended functions (restorations, impressions, sealants, local anesthesia as directed); take and process radiographs; maintain infection control and sterilization; record histories and vitals; educate patients on oral hygiene; assist with patient records, scheduling, and front-office support.
