Leads and mentors a research software engineering team developing and integrating the Pelican Platform. Oversees technical roadmaps, project delivery, software quality, distributed systems architecture, CI/CD, code review, and development workflows. Translates research goals into software requirements, coordinates with integration and operations teams, communicates with external cyberinfrastructure partners, and supports modern engineering practices across research computing projects.

Manages a portfolio of individual donors and prospects for the Morgridge Institute for Research. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships, soliciting annual, major, multi-year, and estate gifts, identifying and qualifying prospects, stewarding donors, maintaining Salesforce records, and supporting fundraising strategies. The role requires communicating scientific and biomedical research information, developing proposals and presentations, coordinating with institute leaders, and traveling outside Madison approximately 4–6 times annually.

Conducts regenerative biology research using zebrafish and occasional mice. Responsibilities include molecular biology, DNA construct preparation, zebrafish breeding and genotyping, microinjection, histology, tissue staining, microscopy, imaging, data analysis, documentation, laboratory preparation, and assisting with personnel training. A bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field is required; laboratory research experience is preferred. Training is provided.
