Provides direct and indirect patient care in an orthopedic clinic. Prepares examination areas, rooms patients, records vital signs, performs point-of-care testing, documents accurately, handles clerical tasks and supplies, and schedules follow-up care. Must work collaboratively under supervision and independently within established responsibilities and clinic procedures.

Provides outpatient nursing care using the ANA nursing process, including patient assessment, diagnosis, care planning, implementation, coordination, education, and evaluation. Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams while documenting care, promoting safety and health, following professional standards, and complying with applicable laws and policies. Requires an active RN license and BLS certification, with significant RN experience and a BSN preferred.

Provides direct and indirect ambulatory patient care under physician or RN supervision. Responsibilities include patient rooming, vital signs, medication administration, nursing procedures, assessments, clinical interventions, documentation, patient education reinforcement, referrals, prior authorizations, inbox management, and mentoring clinical staff while following clinic policies, professional standards, and applicable nursing regulations.
