Teams at Monroe Community Mental Health Authority

Provide peer-based support to adults in the Monroe County Jail preparing for reentry related to substance use and behavioral health. Work one-on-one to build skills, connect consumers to community resources, support treatment engagement, assist with referrals and transportation, participate in treatment teams, complete documentation, and maintain relationships with courts and community partners.

Provide peer-delivered support under a program supervisor to assist consumers with behavioral health, substance use, and developmental disabilities. Use lived experience to mentor, teach coping skills, promote recovery, community inclusion, independence, resiliency, and help navigate human services systems.
