Own Monk’s full-cycle recruiting function, initially focused on engineering and GTM hiring. Build talent pipelines, partner with founders and hiring managers, improve recruiting systems and candidate experience, manage ATS data and funnel reporting, and use AI and automation to increase hiring leverage.

Own the company’s financial systems platform, including technical direction, architecture, delivery, quality, and engineering team leadership. Build integrations with ERPs, accounting platforms, banks, payment providers, files, and APIs. Lead high-volume backend projects using TypeScript, Temporal, and Postgres; establish monitoring and control planes; mentor engineers; and work directly with enterprise customers, GTM, and founders. The role also involves building AI agents and tooling to accelerate software development.

Embed with complex customers to map financial workflows, build production integrations and AI agentic systems, and lead technical discovery through launch. Develop reliable workflows across ERP, payment, CRM, and accounts receivable systems, improving agent observability and human-in-the-loop controls. Partner with finance, operations, IT, and engineering leaders while turning customer-specific learnings into reusable product capabilities and deployment tooling.
